It had to happen didn't it?

Unfortunately, my previous good-willed journal entry has been negated by some kind of a horrible flame war that seems to have erupted over by my last Sci-Fi APC render. Some complete loser has taken a clear and irrational offence to my APC looking ever-so-slightly like something his fevered and obsessive mind envisaged (in his Killzone-addled and socially-restricted brain) but couldn't quite grasp.

I do not know why. I think he just has serious people-issues.

I unfortunately have to take everything I said previously right back. DevianART is just as guilty of harbouring illiterate and undereducated morons as every other site on the Interwebs.

This is a dark dark day.

I'll be honest, that flame war wassnt so much insulting, it was kinda fun(ny) ... i allways love when some deranged nit-pickers think MY creation has to look like something that allready exists, i normally tell them to bugger off because its called 3d-Design and not 3D-Copy-Design (though that has its merits too ! :) )

Its like asking that every painted picture needs to display reality... totally deranged indeed :)

Well dont worry about it anyway, just ignore them people next time you post a pic :) Never argue with them, never answer them.. that way they bugger off ^^

Hehe! Yeah, you're right. It's pointless arguing with somebody like that. They're just insane. I mean - WHAT was going through his mind? I truely do not know. How can you fight such stupidity?

I don't know if it's a language barrier issue or what, but he honestly doesn't make nay sense whatsoever.

I still don't think it's occured to his tiny Russian brain that I've routinely kicked his ass on every occasion that I HAVEN'T ignored him.

The APC is on hold (as is just about everything else in Ol' LEC's life right now) while work is extremely busy. Give it a few weeks and I'll back.

yes there's a name for people like him. Terrible Waste of Air and Time i.e. T.W.A.T

i saw a pic on here that was literally just the cover of a PC game "Vampire the masquerade redemption" turned black and white and had the charcoal filter on photoshop put on it... i flamed it to hell :D

Yeap. He's a chuffing Ruskie. My favorite response to this, in regards to his own poor level of artistic ability, was:

"Extremely simple, lowest-common-denominator, low-poly modeling that they teach at fucking school over here in the developed world."

I'm not racist, and I don't wanna trigger a new Cold War, but are ALL Russians complete dickheads? Cuz I've met or spoken to...oooo... four.

Get this: they were ALL dickheads. True story.
